Hello I've recently bought an external usb hdd drive. I've formatted it on windows, so it uses the ntfs fs Anyway, i tried to plug the drive on the pc with SuSE 9.3. The drive was mounted automatically, but i was unable to browse the tree of the hard disk. I tried to explore the drive as a normal user and as root, but the result was the same, althought permissions on the directory were set automatically to 777. So i tried to add this line to fstab /dev/sda1 /rem_disk ntfs noauto, user, ro 0 0 i created the /rem_disk dir giving to it the 'normal' permissions i gave to other removable drives. I mounted the device but i was unable again to explore it Right now i can only see files as root. I think the problem's in SuSE's automount system, but i don't know how to do to read the files on the device. Thanks in advice
