Hey guys and gals,
I know that oS 12.2 is no longer officially supported, so I was wanting to create a local copy of the 12.2 repo, complete with the latest patches and versions. That way, as I install software in the future, I was hoping to be able to just use the local copy rather than trying to have to download packages manually and try to match up required version numbers, etc.
You don't need to do that. The discontinued products are just moved to less active servers at least for a couple years. http://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Mirrors#EOL_mirrors I don't know when they get removed from there.
