Newbie? on DOSEMU

Hi guys, Does anybody have tried to run dos application like xbase clipper apps on dosemu? Do i need a dos partition to run dosemu? If I formatted my 8gb dos partition using windose 98 do i still need the freedos as i plan to use? regards. ===== Jonathan J.
