What files do I need from the
ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/SuSE-Linux/suse_update/XFree86-3.3.6-SuSE/SuSE-6.3/
directory on suse's ftp site to upgrade to xfree86 3.3.6, I don't want to download them all, as i'm on a pitiful 28.8, no broadband access period in my area :( Also, has anyone else attempted to use a Savage 2000 with XFree86 3.3.6, supposedly it supports it, (that's why i'm trying to upgrade to 3.3.6, since I can't run x-windows currently)...
Here's my suggestion, use YaST to figure out what files are installed that relate to XFree and then download then from SuSE's ftp. Actually, if you select "Install Packages" in YaST, there's an ftp option there... it will tell you the ones that are newer than the currently installed. Alvaro
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
