But on Firefox on my phone, the same syntax does not work and does a google search instead. I can not find my own server on IPv6 from outside.
If you have an Android phone, it won't work with DHCPv6.
Why not? It gets an IPv6 address.
For some reason, Android only supports stateless autoconfig, not DHCPv6. AFAIR, the ICMPv6 Router Advertisement isn't processed correctly, but I have not looked at this for over ten years.
Mind: When I have said in this thread "dhcp" in this thread, I have no idea what protocol my router actually uses to hand over automatically IPv6 address and routes and whatever. I said dhcp because that is the only method I know. Sorry if I have confused people. My mobile phone tests blue on IPv6, both on WiFi and not. The problem is Firefox with IPs. -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. (from 15.4 x86_64 at Telcontar)
