[SLE] Cyrillic Kmail

Hello, I have SuSE 6.2 anybody out there have experience getting kmail to write in cyrillic? I have fixed font and courier font working, but they are hard to read. I don't get this. I have Star Office 5.1 working Cyrillic now, have ghostscript in cyrillic, even setup a user named russian, so that I can work in the KDE environment in cyrillic. All is fine, but kmail is not.
