Thunderbird freezes, won't close properly
Thunderbird 12 on openSUSE 12.1 randomly freezes.
Does not close properly, leaves two processes behind:
Process Name : Status : % CPU : Waiting Channel thunderbird : Sleeping : 0 : do_wait thunderbird-bin : Sleeping : 0 : futex_wait_queue_me
Ideas?
To begin, your statement seems to be ambiguous: you say that it randomly freezes, but then it doesn't close properly. Which version of Thunderbird are you referring to? And which system are you using - 32-bit or 64-bit? Have you tried running TB as a new user - in a terminal, 'thunderbird -P' (without the quotes)?
