Then you are saying that Rajko does not have the authority to make the statement he did about the list now being open to all discussions?
I would be glad if it was so. Nor Rajko nor me nor... except probably Sonja have authority to say what are really the opensuse lists good for. Houghi tried to maintain consistency and was so much attacked he resigned the list. I tried the same with nearly the same result
of this list and if there was one it was not enforced. I'm not trying to start any argument about this list and its use but if a list is created for a particular goal that goal needs to be stated somewhere so it can be adhered to.
this don't seems the point of view of the last resort authority... look at the numerous discussions that are certainly easy to find in the archive. I understood (but this is my personal understanding) that the better way should be to create a new opensuse-life/status/whatever@opensuse.org to receive the discussion about the community and let the opensuse@.. to anything else, but I don't see here http://lists.opensuse.org/archive/ any such list. so I give up... jdd -- http://www.dodin.net http://dodin.org/galerie_photo_web/expo/index.html http://lucien.dodin.net http://fr.susewiki.org/index.php?title=Gérer_ses_photos
