[opensuse] 15.0 KDE desktop goes wonkey

One thing I've noticed since upgrading to 15.0 is the KDE desktop goes wonkey (please pardon the technical jargon) where the icon images on the task bar seem to enlarge the image, within the same size icon.  Text also gets bigger.  Sometimes it also affects the desktop icons.  The only way to clear it is to log out.
