problems with keyboard input with TW SSDM: wrong layout

I have set my keyboard Italian default, I have set root key board (plasma) Italian default. I actually have all keyboards Italian default. Still when I input the password in ssdm it is "English US layout". I do not understand why. Any clue to help me back to normality? Where can I set this value? Thank you in advance. P.s. once inside the Plasma session all is OK.
