I just added another IDE HD to one of my systems. It has MacOS9 on it, but I don't care and want to erase it and make it a ext2 drive. My current set-up has hda1 /boot hda2 swap hda3 / hdb1 /basement (a whole partition just used for storage) sda1 /mirror (3ware IDE RAID) I assume this drive would be hdc1 I dorked around with mkfs and fdisk but the system, nor I can make it point specifically to the new drive. I'm pretty sure I got the master/slave stuff right, though I'll check it again. How do I target the new drive for mkfs? thanks! ===== Daniel Woodard __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Find a job, post your resume. http://careers.yahoo.com
