[opensuse] Serving photo's to a tablet

Hi, I was wondering how I could serve photo's and such to a tablet/smartphone. I know I can make a slide-show and upload that to a webserver, or install a CMS and use that to show the photo's, but are there more easy ways ? Mind you, it's only for home-use. No access from the Internet, although that could be just a firewall configuration. Of course, the server I want to use runs Opensuse. Thanks for any thoughts.
