There is no error message: what I wrote is exactly what happens when I try to perform a Yast2 update. If there is no registration required, where does the code come from to launch a dialog, which then launches a browser? Do you think I'm hallucinating? T On 06/03/11 14:01, Marcus Meissner wrote:
Hi,
without knowing exact error messages or similar we cannot help.
The online update system for 11.3 has not changed, and also does not require registration.

11.3: I do have packman on my list of repositories, but this problem seems to have to do more with some new Novell registration system rather than the repositories themselves. T

If this is the wrong list for this, please let me know.
I tried running an update today. Suddenly I have to 'configure an update repository' which involves registering. I've no problem with that, if the system worked, but it doesn't.
Hi For what version of openSUSE, not using 11.1? Or trying to update from packman?
