This IS very simple I know, but for me and my $300 worth of Linux books it ain't. What config file do I change to stop Cups and Samba from loading at boot time? I have to make this change from the rescue system command line. I know how to mount my drive. I just don't know what to change. Thanks Mark B. mark bannister wrote:
Well, I celebrated too soon. After changing my motherboard all was well until I tried to reconfigure my extra parallel ports. I screwed up Cups somehow and now system won't start. Cups fails to start then system Hangs when Samba waits for Cups to start. I have no clue how to configure these things from a command line. I thought I could run YaST from command line, but I can't seem to figure that out either. I am booting from the rescue system. Can someone kindly point me in the right direction? Mark B.
