Yes, that happened to me with a Data general PC. I was trying to run XENIX on it. Actually I went though a phase where much of the electronics I used "blew up". By blow up I do mean exothermic to the point of destruction, often accompanied by rapid expansion of material and sometimes smoke. Somewhere along the line I grew out of it. -- E pluribus unum.
