Out of curiosity, are you saying that you are able to sync up your mobile phone using opensuse? I use my mobile phone (Motorola) for appointments all the time but haven't found a way to sync it with Linux. I have Motorola phone tools installed on a dual boot computer and have to sync up my phone using windows only.
If you know of a way to sync the phone with Linux and integrate the data into evolution or korganizer, please let me know how you do it.
Don't do it regularly now as find online easier : all I did was plug a USB bluetooth dongle into this SuSE 10 laptop, "discovered" the phone and ran the evolution sync system and
