even if they f**ck it up with propitary extensions, its still based on a gpl product and must therefore be free (including source !!) if they do not so, they are really breaking laws by not following the gpl-license !!

Come on, now, prove it, and there will be a court case. But rumors are useless. Also, FUD should be __Microsoft's__ business, not Linux's. If anyone can decompile an MS program (illegal, BTW, in many states now) and demonstrate a copy of GPL'd code, then I think the two should be displayed side-by-side on the Internet, so that the deception can never be denied. This should preferably done from another country, so that MS cannot sue to have it removed. But prove it. I am certainly not on MS's side, but let's not shoot ourselves in the foot! --doug
