BTW, when issuing make oldconfig, I get some questions regarding new features; what did you answer? And what is your hardware?
Since I did a make oldconfig I've done a make mrproper and I no longer have the conifg I made then. (Since it didn't seem to work either, I didn't worry about keeping it at the time.) I can make a new one, but honestly I accepted the defaults in pretty much each case. As for hardware, nothing fancy really: Callandor:/usr/src/linux # lspci 00:00.0 Host bridge: VIA Technologies, Inc. P4M266 Host Bridge 00:01.0 PCI bridge: VIA Technologies, Inc. Perhaps there is just something wrong with my build environment - though I can't imagine what that might be at this point. Are you building against the 2.6.33.3 or 2.6.34-rc7 just out of curiosity?
