I may have spoken too soon as I'm not sure if turning IPv6 off in YaST2 Networking solved the problem or not. I think I still saw some IPv4: martian source errors when watching journalctl, but it may have slowed down. I will be keeping an eye on it, but any other suggestions appreciated.
I had this problem when I connected my phone via usb network and it assigned a fixed IP that was out of my local network range. I solved it by assigning the address as a fixed IP address, no DHCP. I wanted my phone to use my box's internet connection. It succeeded to connect via kdeconnect but some of the phones apps never used the internet connection properly after the fixed IP address was set up.
