what about using ksnapshot to get a screen copy then print it? Horrible quality.
- then, perhaps good quality is achievable, if one were to use GIMP "Create Screenshot', and also employ gimp to adjust orientation, zoom, and printing : gimp must be capable of splendid quality :)
No, you don't get it. If you capture the screen, you get screen resolution, whatever that is at that moment. If you print a PDF of text, that text is basically a vector graphic, which when printed is converted to the printer resolution, which can be orders of magnitude greater than the screen resolution. Like 1200 dots per inch of paper, compared to a total of about one thousand dots per full screen. - -- Cheers Carlos E. R.
