Hi: I uninstalled the SuSE broken Mozilla package (8.1). Then I installed the vanilla one from Mozilla.org. (Why the heck did Suse bother to break it in the first place, I dunno...) When I switched my printer subsystem from LPRng to CUPS, the darned Yast reinstalled SuSE's Mozilla on top of mine, breaking everything. I had to do the Mozilla install all over again. How can this be fixed? I am wondering this also because I am considering playing with Mplayer, which I hear SuSE has also crippled or done something goofy to it, so I want to try a vanilla one. Thanks for comments. -- ____________________________________ Christopher R. Carlen Principal Laser/Optical Technologist Sandia National Laboratories CA USA crcarle@sandia.gov
