I am just a tad confused here, David. I read the bug reports you mention above and they go way back to 2014 and yet I am right at this moment using the Oxygen theme on my Leap 42.2 KDE desktop. So is Leap still using gtk2?. As Wolfgang answered, yes, for now. Upstream intends for that to be impossible ASAP: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1278282
Thank you. But the way I read that report is that it only concerns Firefox and I don't think that David is talking only about FF -- the Oxygen Theme is not part of FF but is in the (KDE) settings Look and Feel>Desktop Theme>Workspace Theme.
yes David is only talking about FF, but not the FF from openSUSE and not a solution here if he continues to use FF directly from Mozilla. The problem is GTK3 which appears worse that any of the migrations I experienced in the kde/plasma lifelines. -- (paka)Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA @ptilopteri http://en.opensuse.org openSUSE Community Member facebook/ptilopteri Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://linuxcounter.net Photos: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/piwigo paka @ IRCnet freenode -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
