dialin server

I'm trying to dialin to my office server (SuSE 8.0) to access the internet and stop paying for an ISP. I can dial in and connect to the server with no problem. I can ping the server, but not the router or any of the other boxes on the local network or the internet. My server is behind a hardware router, so I tried turning off the firewall, but that didn't help either. I assume i need to set up routing or IP masq or forwarding. After reading the howtos, I realize I know and understand nothing. It appears I need to add a few lines to my firewall scripts (SuSEfirewall2_XXX) but I don't which one or where. Can anyone help?
