Any hints?
Daniel,
I would merge this discussion into your original "How to get Nvidia Geforce GTX 960 M working?" thread. (I just replied to you there.) It's the same system and all of these issues are related. I think fragmenting the discussion will be less efficient and less helpful in the long run. YMMV

Carl
thanks for the input, Carl. I was tempted to put it there, but then I thought I'd "blow up" a thread and maybe not reach persons who know about touchpads, also (in case a solution would be found) it would be easier to find the thread on google - i thought... But you sure are right, and I should have titled the other thread "Asus laptop problems"... Anyway I think right now there is no solution for the touchpad as the hardware is not detected at all and it seems to be a kernel issue (according to what I read on my journeys through the web). I filed a bug on opensuse: https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=969098 So, I have very little hope to get this solved soon, but one never knows: miracles happen and all hints are welcome :-) Daniel -- Daniel Bauer photographer Basel Barcelona http://www.daniel-bauer.com room in Barcelona: https://www.airbnb.es/rooms/2416137 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
