I just installed Cinelerra in Tumbleweed and it installed perfectly - and it appears to work properly.
Now, considering that TW was updated to 12.3 only a couple of days ago I think that this TW rpm should also install in 12.3. Which I will try and do after I have had some sleep.
I found this http://packman.links2linux.org/package/cinelerra/370296
not openSUSE 12.3 specific but 1-Click Apper installable. Because Apper and YaST are able to handle dependencies make sense try it out. I did not try it though. I have no time to handle unpredictable conditions right now. Maybe Monday night. If everything goes right I will back with feedback.
I tried that one a few days ago - nothing doing: comes up with the statement that the script does not contain instructions on how to install it in 12.3.
