I read online that it didn't work without compiling the driver. This is on the opensuse site which says that. http://en.opensuse.org/HCL/Network_Adapters_%28Wired%29

Any idea if there are plans to get it working? My ALSA is kinda acting weird too but that's a diff story. Hey, do you know what the repositories are to install the smp kernel source? Also, how to get mp3 playback with xine engine work? It keeps telling me that it doesn't have codecs for universal types like mp3 or mpeg. Thanks all.
Novell does not ship all the codecs and files because of the patents on mp3. I use packman. http://en.opensuse.org/Additional_YaST_Package_Repositories Use a mirror. Toget what you need. If you search the archives you can find articles that explain exactly what you need. I do not remember the URL. Basically you need the additional libraries and codex. You can also search on packman mailing list. I think it is there as well. -- Boyd Gerber <gerberb@zenez.com> ZENEZ 1042 East Fort Union #135, Midvale Utah 84047 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
