XChat 2.6

Hi, Version 10.1 packs the XChat 2.6. In SuSE 9.2 was 2.4. I notice lots of differences between these two version, ex., in a dialog window, the context menu (the one obtained clicking the right button of the mouse), the CTCP commands are missing. This is a feature obtaining by compiling or can I configure it to obtains the same commands of version 2.4? LC
