However, it took me all of 5 minutes to find a problem when Vmware Workstation needed to compile some of its modules. It wanted gcc 7.1.1. which exists nowhere for opensuse 42.2.
I can find one-click installs here https://software.opensuse.org/package/gcc7 but only for tumbleweed and 42.3.
What Opensuse are you running Anton?
