Hallo. Since update to 10.1 my HP Scanjet 5300C does not work any more (and it did not very well in 10.0, but a little more than now). During booting I get this messages (from: /var/log/messages). Jun 12 07:45:18 (none) kernel: usb 4-1.1: new device found, idVendor=03f0, idProduct=0701 Jun 12 07:45:18 (none) kernel: usb 4-1.1: new device strings: Mfr=1, Product=2, SerialNumber=3 Jun 12 07:45:18 (none) kernel: usb 4-1.1: Product: Hewlett Packard ScanJet 5300C/5370C Jun 12 07:45:18 (none) kernel: usb 4-1.1: Manufacturer: Hewlett Packard Jun 12 07:45:18 (none) kernel: usb 4-1.1: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice Jun 12 07:45:18 (none) kernel: usb 4-1.1: can't set config #1, error -32 sane-find-scanner says: found USB scanner (vendor=0x03f0, product=0x0701) at libusb:004:005 found USB scanner (vendor=0x2040, product=0x2900) at libusb:004:003 (There should be mentioned, that it is a HP-Scanjet 5003c). And scanimage -L: No scanners were identified. The point is: the messages: "configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice" "can't set config #1, error -32". Which documentation should I read to see, what this error-32 means? Thank You in advance.
