It has to be done with update-alternatives, and this is not documented in the sysconfig file. And of course, has to be done in text mode.
And lxdm is not in the list:
...
maybe you need to add it:
#> update-alternatives --help Usage: update-alternatives [<option> ...] <command>
Commands: --install <link> <name> <path> <priority>
and there is a man page
Or wait for the bug to be corrected. ;-)
Yes, I'm aware of update-alternatives process, I have done it previously. But I would need to go find out the proper parameters to give it, and it is not a priority for me. I'm not going further this road, sorry.
not suggesting you do, only commenting on availability. lxdm *can* be on the "list", but needs adding. -- (paka)Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA @ptilopteri http://en.opensuse.org openSUSE Community Member facebook/ptilopteri Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://linuxcounter.net Photos: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/piwigo paka @ IRCnet freenode -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
