Thanks for taking time to answer my question. I guess I didn't state it clearly. I have no problem installing it. But I have to find it first. At this moment my machine is not connected to internet. I am just wondering if the software is shipped with the 4 CDs that I got from SuSE, where is it? In which directory of which CD?
Thanks again, Ramin
The software for xfree86 was shipped with 5.2. What you do is go in yast to install packages... once your there, you go to change/create installation... to go the category called "x" and look through the list to see if the Xserver you need is installed... follow the instructions for installation are rerun your configuration program for X (which may not be needed, but just in case...) Good luck...
