You do not even say what you are using (wicked, NM, systemd-networkd or something entirely different) and expect someone guess what happens?
Well, it was 4 AM, I was tired, and I hoped for ideas to be told what to look at. I was not going to think myself at that hour, too tired. I happened to look at it because the machine had failed to hibernate hours before when ordered. And I thought it was the same machine I had asked about dnsmasq recently, so the details would be remembered, but it isn't. Ok, so you want that info, just ask :-) No, this is Telcontar. Fixed configuration, desktop machine, so wicked and dnsmasq. Telcontar:~ # cat /etc/resolv.conf ... nameserver 127.0.0.1 nameserver 192.168.1.16 nameserver 2a02:9000::aaaa Telcontar:~ # That IPv6 address I do not want there, it should be inside dnsmasq. Now that I am awake, I will review what I did in the other thread on Laicolasse, when tea makes effect.
Setup audit rules to monitor exec of netconfig and see what program invokes it.
