[opensuse] Dell D820 + Docking Station = APIPA Address

So, I have a Dell D820 and this is an issue i've been living with actually for a while. When I am docked, and i turn on my machine, I first get an APIPA address (169.254.x.x), I have to then redo reconnect with NetworkManager to get an ip address from my local subnet. Anyone with a D620 / D630 have this issue?
