A few months ago - can't remember when, exactly - someone posted instructions on using a shared folder on the vfat partition for mozilla/thunderbird mail accessible from both Linux and Windows. You can save your KMail folders in mbox format which I think thunderbird can import, but I doubt that Outlook Express would be able to do that. You'd be far better off with thunderbird or mozilla mail anyway and both can be used in Windows and Linux.
