* Paul Benjamin (paulben@tds.net) [020701 21:44]: ::I went back to kde-look.org and found a message posted. The secret is you ::have to feed configure your kde install directory, so: :: ::su root ::./configure --prefix=/opt/kde3 ::make ::make install :: ::don't forget make clean if you had a failed install like me! Also delete the ::/usr/local/kde tree since Liquid will go into the /opt/kde3 tree now. :: ::Thanks also goes to Kevin L Hochhalter for giving me a link to an rpm. It ::triggered a further search and some loss of sleep. How about just going into the supplementry directory under KDE and downloading the SuSE RPM for Liquid. It's the newest version that Mosfet has released and it works fine. Also, you may want to download the Keramik style for KDE 3. It's kickass. It's in the experimental directory..for what reason I don't know. It's going to ship with KDE 3.1 :) This is sort of a preview. There is also a patch for it that makes the kicker transparent..very nice. If any of you want to see it.
