Ok, here's what I did: 1. Mounted the ISO 2. Copied the contents into regular subdirectories. Same result. "Cannot mount the specified partition". At this point, I have to ask the question: Is Novell trying to make us all buy DVD burners? Because so far, that's the only way to install this "free" 9.2 upgrade with a DSL connection... I also am trying the hard disk install of Suse 9.2 from the mini ISO.
I booting the mini ISO, and selected the Hard Disk option.
After specifying the mount and the directory where the DVD ISO is, I am told my "partition cannot be mounted".
What can I do ?
To do this you need to have the installation files (i.e. the contents of the DVD ISO) in the directory, not the ISO itself.
