The problem is that it causes full system lock-ups on my machine ... I'm trying the release version as a quick diff shows it's not just a renumbered version of the beta. I'll report back.
Well, I can happily report that, after nearly six hours of use, including very heavy traffic it hasn't locked up so it seems to Work For Me[TM] on Factory/i586; YMMV as always. Now, as for why it's not included in openSUSE, there is a license question mark. No license (GPL or otherwise) is included in the tarball and the only clue is line 98 of r1000_n.c that reads: MODULE_LICENSE("GPL"); I've asked Realtek the question of the license and received no response. -- James Ogley james@usr-local-bin.org http://usr-local-bin.org GNOME for openSUSE: http://repos.opensuse.org/GNOME:/ Help end poverty: http://oxfam.org.uk/in -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
