First yasm in factory was updated to 1.3.0 four days ago, so I think the work was already done.
Good deal -- issue solved, but learning for next time.
Second, the build service is built on the concept of branched projects.
The typical workflow is to branch an existing project, update it in your branch then, after you're done, submit your update back to package you branched.
This is where I needed the help. I branched from 13.1 OSS, then deleted 1.2.0 - source yasm-no-build-date.patch yasm-no-rpm-opt-flags.patch Re-worked/uploaded new yasm-no-build-date.patch yasm-no-rpm-opt-flags.patch yasm.spec 1.3.0 source Triggered rebuild - all good Now what are you saying is all I need to do is hit "submit" on the package overview page after this is done? (site has always been horribly unintelligible to me). I always wondered where "submit" would submit the package. I tried submitting to openSUSE:13.1:Update (1 Repo Shown), and all I got was a big red banner saying: "Unable to submit" Outsmarted by a web-page once again.... -- David C. Rankin, J.D.,P.E. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
