Ruediger, have a look at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multiseat_configuration
Thanks for opening another thread to let me read it... But you should have read it by yourself. Xephyr setup is mentioned there as one of the most recent solutions in history ... Logind, systemd or whatever you try to sell us as "needed to let multi-seat work" ... there is not a single word about it in whole article. Also note that Wikipedia definitions are not 100% consistent in mathematical sense. What are "multiple independent local users"? The four guys sitting at the small desk on that picture are for sure not completely independent. And it wouldn't make any difference if their 4 monitors would be replaced by 2 double sized ones. BTW there are also graphic boards for two monitors which appear within linux only as one large screen. The only change about systemd regarding multi-seat which I have noticed so far is that the stupid login session managment makes it more hard for me to do what I want. I stop this stupid discussion now. cu, Rudi -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
