No lockd running?

Hello Linux folkz, Recently I noticed this message in /var/log/warn: kernel:lock_down no lockd running Could somebody please clarify me what this message is referring to and how to fix it? I couldn't find anything about lockd 'man lockd' Many thanks in advance. Alex -- MS Windows users should be covered under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
