Eh, missing from where? The KDE menu?
The KDE menu Thanks, André
Try kbuildsycoca5 --noincremental
This should, apart from other things rebuild the menu content.
linux-l7mf:~ # kbuilsycoca5 -- noincremental I got this back If 'kbuilsycoca5' is not a typo you can use command-not-found to lookup
the package that contains it, like this: cnf kbuilsycoca5
André
Run this as the 'normal user' and correct the typo
kbuildsycoca5 --noincremental
Please note the 'd' you omitted. Copy the command from the email, paste it in Konsole ( as your user ) using Ctrl-Shift-V
This is the result;
linux-l7mf:~ # kbuildsycoca5 --noincremental QStandardPaths: XDG_RUNTIME_DIR not set, defaulting to '/tmp/runtime-root' kbuildsycoca5 running... kf5.kservice.services: The desktop entry file "/usr/share/applications/org.kde.drkonqi.desktop" has Type= "Application" but no Exec line kf5.kservice.sycoca: Invalid Service : "/usr/share/applications/org.kde.drkonqi.desktop" kf5.kservice.services: The desktop entry file "/usr/share/applications/org.kde.systemmonitor.desktop" has Type= "Application" but no Exec line kf5.kservice.sycoca: Invalid Service : "/usr/share/applications/org.kde.systemmonitor.desktop"

No succes. Is it easier for me to re install with snapshot 06-18?
André I told you NOT to run the command as root, and that is what you're doing. Simply open Konsole as your user and invoke the command.
