[opensuse] Cheese loads OK but not camera image

ref: opensuse 11.1 logitech orbit-AF Problem: Cheese loads OK. No error message. Snow instead of camera image. When I start cheese camera is not turn on. Under Edit/Preference Camera is recognize and associated with the correct /dev/video0. Resolution field is blank.
