Booted this morning to find I'd been update to T'Bird Version 3. OUCH! Most of my plugins and extensions disabled and no replacements! But the big problem is that I have two or more copies of everything in my inbox now. An T'bird seems to be downloading everything from my IMAP server onto my laptop. That includes all the folders I have on the IMAP server as well as the inbox. Oh look. I've just restarted after installing an add-in and now I've got THREE copies. Oh look, now I have an "low on disk space in /home" message. It must be T'bird downloading not only my inbox but all my archives. It wasn't set up like that before and I've checked the config. No, its not set to download all the messages. This is IMAP not POP. Oh look, I've just used LVM to add another 512M of space and its just gone and consumed that as well. Well, I do have a LOT of mail archived on the server; the whole idea was to keep it on the server, not on my laptop. WTF! HELP! HELP! Oh, and it freezes while indexing. -- Conservatism is the blind and fear-filled worship of dead radicals. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
