Best to in addition to that, use susepaste.org or equivalent to share with us the file:

from running 12.2 at least. If you can get ungarbled video by switching to a tty in 12.3, get us to see a copy of whatever Xorg.0.log you can locate from it.
No mode works at all. All ttys are blank or grabled. Same as when I try to use any 12.3 Media. Only a 12.2 CD/DVD is able to allow me to see things and then only an install or rescue. Sadly, I am unable to get a network right now. I have to use ifup and not Network Nanager. When in resuce mode if I change the Network Nanager to tradtional I am able to see the network configuration exactly as I want it to be. But when saving It errors off with no network and does not save it as Traditional. Sadly all the solutions for this I am unable to do because of the Video so I am in a catch 22 situation.
Based on your lspci output, also look at whichever are applicable among: http://en.opensuse.org/SDB:Configuring_graphics_cards http://en.opensuse.org/SDB:ATI_troubleshooting http://en.opensuse.org/SDB:NVIDIA_troubleshooting http://en.opensuse.org/SDB:Nouveau http://en.opensuse.org/SDB:Radeon http://en.opensuse.org/SDB:Boot_video_modes
I really wish I could login on a tty. All are blank or grabled. Really hard when you are unable to get the Video to work and Not able to get the Network Manager disabled.
I really am at a loss right now.
Thanks,
I am probably coming in in the middle of this thread, but you have tried booting or starting the install with 'nomodeset' added to the kernel command line?
