Well, Wmaker 0.80 starts up, then BOMBS.... very unstable. No use here So, good people, I simply went back to the default wmaker 0.65 and all's fine as expected.
No one can help you if you don't include any error messages. FYI, I have compiled the CVS version of Window Maker ever since the 0.1 days and have never had it bomb out on me. Are you sure that you don't have an older copy of libwraster hanging around? This seem to be the most common problem.
Then, my question is : How did you get your 0.80 running with SuSE 7.3 ? Did you have to go from 0.65 to 0.70 to 0.80, gently letting go and repointing the un-needed libraries ? Any takers ?
No, just compile it from CVS. Charles -- The box saids Windows XP or better, so I installed Linux
