Hi I have SuSE 6.1 installed onto /dev/hdc and boot via a floppy with LILO (/dev/hda is an old unused hard disk). Is there an (easy) way of setting it up so that linux automatically boots. Obviously i need to change the drive over to the primary controller (/dev/hda). Apart from /etc/fstab, are there any other changes i need to make? Also, at home I recompiled my kernel to include SCSI emulation and created a boot disk to boot that kernel. The boot disk does not use LILO - it comes up with "Loading Linux......" straight away. Is there any way i could have a similar setup for the hard disk. Many Thanks, Andrew Smith <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> <HEAD> <META content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1" http-equiv=Content-Type> <META content="MSHTML 5.00.2614.3401" name=GENERATOR> <STYLE></STYLE> </HEAD> <BODY bgColor=#ffffff> <DIV><FONT size=2>Hi</FONT></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><FONT size=2>I have SuSE 6.1 installed onto /dev/hdc and boot via a floppy with LILO (/dev/hda is an old unused hard disk).
