Hi guys. I've recently installed SuSe 9.1. When system boots it makes a "coldplug scannig input" that slows way to much the boot routine. The message given to me is: coldplug scanning input: scanning pci: ********..*WW*W* scanning usb: I've tried removing coldplug from runlevel 5 with YaST. The problem is that now the system hangs trying to find a dhcp mandatory device, and then fails. For more details, I have 2 NICs, one is a common realtek pci device (which is the plugged one) and another integrated into the mainboard (which is manually configured and not plugged). I'm connected to router/access point with dhcp service buil in-to. Help me, please. Thank you very much.
