-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I am using it in the 2.4 Kernel. Take a look through the readme files as it mentions where to get the latest version. The stock 2.4 kernel does not have it as it is still considered too beta to join the main Kernel, however SuSE included it. I built it in as mk_initrd screwed up :-(. Works fairly fail, although I get the occaisonal and tkaes at most two tires before it works. Matt On Sunday 18 March 2001 00:34, Christopher D. Reimer wrote:

Also, if this is a Kernel from standard sources it will not have it.
The standard 2.4.2 kernel doesn't have the option. Funny that it doesn't.
Finally, yes you can get it from Tekream, and also from SuSE. Try Tekram first as I cannot remember where on SuSE you can get it, but the Tekram site will link it in.
The 2.4.x kernel series is different than the 2.2.x kernel series. I was able to hacked the appropriate files to get the option to show up correctly in "make menuconfig". When I try to compile the kernel, the compiler spits out all kinds of undeclared, uninitialized and never defined error messages. Does this mean I have to wait until Tekram produces a 2.4.x version of the driver?
Thanks!
