fwiw: yesterday I received a notice from opensuse+owner saying "Bouncing messages from opensuse@opensuse.org" and there were six listed and four were from the OP, probably the referenced posts.

Guessing these people have some small irregularity or feature disliked by the opensuse list software and it chokes. Of course it might be my setup causing the bounces but, ...
When you receive that listing, it is because your receiving mailserver has bounced something the list server tried to deliver. This is one of the bounce messages: 554 5.7.9 Message not accepted for policy reasons.
