When I use the test functions, or try to print to the printer, it doesn't do anything. The file doesn's show up in the printer queue.
So, anyone have any idea about this?
Mark, Is your ppd listed in /etc/cups/ppd ? THis is where cups eventually installs the ppds. Also have a look at the log files in /var/logs/cups/ and see if you can find any error messages relating to your printer. You could try putting the ml1710.ppd file into /usr/share/cups/model/Samsung and re-installing the driver for your printer.
